Business Cards

Image
For my first business cards, I made sure my logo was clear and incorporated colors that were involved in the mountain. The dots make the card stand out and continue the blue. water trend throughout the front of the card. This and the third card are probably my favorite. For the second card design, I found it very difficult to use the darker colors in my card. I tried to incorporate the purple into the front of my card but it came out looking disjointed from the rest of the card. Overall, this would be my least favorite card. For my last business card, the colors that were used were very simple and linked the whole card together. The pattern I created on the back, personally, looks really good and helps the focus of the viewer go to the logo. The total layout of the card makes sense and the information on the front is very clear and obvious.  Overall, this process took 3-4 hours and it was a very enjoyable task as it is something I will need to use ...

Tag Brush

Image
My tag brush, is coming from my original Mt Taranaki logo. Due to the lining being very thin, the coloring, which I tried to make as very forest like, came out very hard to see. This logo is something that can be placed on many items, but if I were to improve it, I would make the mountain stand out more by making the color different darker than the boarder red.

Doll on Photoshop

Image
For my Doll image, I started off with an image of me on my computer as I was wanting to capture what I look like when I'm working in Digital Media. This could then correspond to how we are working almost like Robots, so this is what I tried to produce using photoshop. I first started off Lining my image up so that it was just my body and no background. I then began by putting the background, which I choose to be a robot, techno background. I then placed the marble background to make me look more artificial, then darkening the color. I then changed my eye color to the marble eyes, to show the robot like effect. Following this, I did a lot of color balancing to get the brownish effect, then finishing with removing the 'M' on my shirt and replacing it with my Logo. Overall this process took 6-7 hours after incorrectly doing the process many times.

B/W to Color Photoshop Task

Image
For this Photoshop project, I choose an image with vibrant colors that would be easy to transfer into a process like this. The colors I choose were all vibrant and had the summer feel to them. This project took me around 6hours, 1 hours for each piece. Using the Brush tool, I worked with the main features which were my shirt, hat, and glasses. I am happy with the results and enjoyed the process.
